What do you get when you put together three friends who have entirely different music tastes? You get Chelsea Manor, a band who delivers a sound that is equal parts forward-thinking yet nostalgic, rambunctious and introspective, yet always leaving you wanting more.

 

A mixed bag of treats with the taste of familiarity, it’s as if they are mixing their favourite genres into the blender to create their own style with flavours of rock and grunge. The band’s live show is no exception, fast paced, high energy, they make you feel like you’re a part of the act.

 

Situated in Mount Gambier in South Australia’s South East, they hit the ground running in 2019 performing their first live show as winners of Triple J’s One Night Stand festival support. They’ve had music in an Australian feature film, chatted with Rolling Stone Australia and played with some of the best local and national acts. With only six singles under their belt including their cover of the iconic Round The Twist theme, the best is yet to come for Chelsea Manor.
