Neighbourhood Void is the Alternative Rock project of songwriter and musician Giovanni Alexander originally formed in the suburbs of Western-Sydney. The first official album from the project ‘Childhood Trauma’ released in 2017 and with the help of a few friends
jumping on to play live, the band quickly earned a spot in Sydneys local live music scene as they became known for their cathartic and energy filled performances.

 

Over the next few years the band would go on to release singles such as ‘Kid’ in support of their national tour with Joyce Manor and ‘Recovery’ which resulted in airplay from both FBi Radio and Triple J. Following the release of these singles, Neighbourhood Void delivered their first studio album ‘Watch The World Burn’ and celebrated this release playing a hometown show to a packed out Lansdowne Hotel.

 

Building on this momentum, Neighbourhood Void have gone on to release an EP in 2023 titled ‘Sink Or Swim’ which has earned the band extensive editorial play listing and streaming on all streaming platforms.

 

With new songs under their belt, Neighbourhood Void plan to spend the remainder of
the year playing live and recording new music to be released in early 2024.
